Temple Shir Hadash is an independent
congregation serving the needs of the Jewish population in Westford and
neighboring towns. Temple Shir Hadash was formed in 2001 by a group of families
with the vision of having a vibrant synagogue in our own community. We are
committed to an open approach to worship which encourages participation by
families with a variety of observational styles.
We have a wonderful Rabbi, Karen Landy, who leads our monthly Shabbat and High-Holiday
services. She is also available for all life cycle events. Our religious
school has classes for all ages of children taught by very creative teachers.
We elected
Officers for 2009-2011 following a meeting in March
2009. Board Members were elected following a meeting in April 2010. Committee Chairs are appointed by the Board.
