By any measure it was an amazing trip. A bike ride across the country in 27 days from June 6 to September 7, 2008 in three segments to accomodate work. Over that time, he road 3,515 miles...yes, you read that right: Dave Zion rode 3,515 miles on a bike on lonely roads, in very high and very low temperatures, through small towns and major cities, getting up early and finishing late, meeting intersting people and seeing amazing sites, across 13 states starting in Washington state and ending in New York state.
