Helping Others

  •    The Hebrew word Mitzvah (pl. Mitzvot) literally means "commandment", but is often used to refer to good deeds. It is an important goal of Temple Shir Hadash to help both our local community, and to help Israel. Our Social Action Committee plans events each year to help others, and is committed to "tikkun olam" - repairing the world, and "tzedaka" - charity.
