Membership
The goal of the
TSH Membership Committee is to reach out to prospective members keeping
them informed and helping them to be part of the TSH community. The
committee will also develop programs and tools that will foster a
closer relationship of all existing TSH members.
One of the ways we are trying to keep
prospective members informed is through our TSH Buddy program. Every
Board member has been assigned one or more persons or families to adopt as their
TSH Buddy. In most cases, these persons or families have attended a TSH event in
the past but have not joined TSH yet. Well, we want to make you feel welcomed
and part of our community (and hopefully someday you’ll join our wonderful
temple). Once you’ve been assigned as a TSH Buddy, you should receive calls
welcoming you to our community, inviting you to our services and programs and
possibly getting a dinner invitation before one of our Friday night services. If
you haven’t yet been invited for dinner but would like to get a free meal,
please inquire about your dinner invitation the next time your Buddy calls.
As a member of TSH, there
are many wonderful privileges and responsibilities that go along with being a
member. As a member, you are part of building a new Jewish Community in the
Westford area. This is an exciting time to be part of a new temple. Your
thoughts and suggestions are key to our continued growth and success. We invite
you to attend our monthly Board meetings, come to our services, be part of our
Hebrew School, attend our holiday celebrations and tell all of your Jewish
friends about our warm and welcoming temple.
Our dues structure is based
on the yearly budget that the members approve each Spring. Anyone needing financial assistance with the dues may
speak to our Treasurer to work out a financial plan that you are comfortable
with.
If you have additional
questions about our Temple or would like to spend some time talking with members
of our Temple please contact us by calling (800) 792-0969 or by filling out the
Contact Us form.
